AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF WATER 5TREET 50 AS TO CONFORM
TO NORTHWOOD5 COURT PLAT IN THE CITY AND COUNTY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
5TATE OF MIS50URI

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRAR.DEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOW5:
SECTION 1. That a portion of Water 5treet be vacated to
conform to the Northwoods Court plat accepted by the Council of
the City of Cape Girardeau, r�issouri, on February 16, 1972, in
City Manager Form Ordinance No. 641.
SECTION 2 . All that portion of Water Street described
as follows:
Part of U.S. Private Survey No. 3091, Township 31
North, Range 14 East, City and County of Cape Girardeau,
State of Missouri:
Start at the intersection of the south line of said
U.S. Private 5urvey No. 3091 and the east line of
Main 5treet; thence South 82° 44 ' East, 307.2 feet
to the west line Water Street for the point of beginning;
thence continue South 82° 44 ' East, along the south line
of said U.S . Private 5urvey No. 3091, 63 . 85 feet, to
the east line of Water Street; thence North 6° 51 '
East, along said east line, 761. 7 feet to the south
line of Lot 13 , Block G, Capaha Gardens; thence
North 82° 38' West, along said south line, 63 . 85
feet to the west line of Water Street; thence 5outh
�� 6° 51' West, along said west line, 761. 8 feet to the
point of beginning.
is hereby vacated.
SECTION 3 . The Mayor of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri,
is hereby authorized and empowered to execute and deliver to the
owner of property fronting and abutting on the land described in
Section 2 of this Ordinance, Quit Claim Deeds to the said lands
to the extent that said lands revert by law to said abutting owners .
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect ten days after its passage and approval.
