AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE GRALIE OF M�;Z.ROSE AVENUE FROM THE
CIIJTER OF DAVID STREET TO THE CENTER OF RANDGL AVENUE, IN THE CITY OF
CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRkRD�AU,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1 . Thzt the grade zs hereinzfter described shall be the
gra.de for the center line of Melrose Avenue, trom the center of David
Street ta t�e ceater of R�,ndol Avenue, in the city of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, znd is with reference to Mean Sea, Level.
SECTION 2. Begin at the intersection of the center of Dzvid Street
with the center oP Melrose Avenue, xh�ch point for the purpose of this
deacription shzll be known as Sta�tion 0-25, �,rith �n eleva,tion of 47g•95;
thence ea.st with a vertical curve to an elevation of 476.15 zt St�tion
�+25; thence with � descend�:ng grade of 11 .2 per cent to an elevation of
454.87 zt Stztion 2+15; thence with a verticzl curve to an elevation of
449.20 at Station 2+85; thence with z vertic�l curve to an elevztion of
443.51 at Station 3+SS; thence with a vertics�l curve to a�n elevztion of
435.68 zt Station 4+45; thence with a descending grzde of 6.16 per cent
to ar: elevation of 435.00 at Station 4+56; thence with z vertical curve
to zn �levation of 434.50 zt Stztion 5+56; thence with zn ascending
grade of 5.0 per cent to zn elevation of 434.90 zt Station 5�+-bk, which
point for the continu�tion of this description sh�ll be known as Stztion
5+96.5; thence rvith zn a,scending grade of 5.0 per cent to zn elevation,=
of 436.08 zt Station 6+20; thence with a vertical c�rv�e to an elevztion
of 440.23 at Station 6+80; thence wi�h zn zscending �rade of 8.85 per
