CITY MANAGER FORM ORDINANCE NO. �� � �
AN ORDINANCE VACATING HARLAN ROAD IN GREEN MEADOWS SUBDIVISION
IN THE CITY AND COUNTY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS :
S�CTION l. There is no public need for Harlan Road in
Green Meadows Subdivision.
SECTION 2. All that portion of Harlan Road as shown on a
plat recorded in Book 5 , Page 11, of the land records of Cape
Girardeau County, called a Plat of Green Meadows , a subdivision of
parts of Lots 2 & 5 of Sloan's Subdivision of Out Lots 69 & 71,
U. S. P. Survey 2199 in the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri,
is hereby vacated.
SECTION 3. The Mayor of the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri , is hereby authorized and empowered to execute and
deliver to the owner of property fronting and abutting on the
land described in Section 2 of this Ordinance, Quit Claim Deeds to
said lands to the extent that said lands revert by law to said
abutting owners .
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect ten days after its passage and approval.
