AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING QUIT CLAIM DEED FROM BOARD OF EDUCATION,
CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 63 FOR PART OF
GIBONEY HOUCK'5 FIFTH SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, the Board of Education, Cape Girardeau, Missouri,
School District 63, has executed a Quit Claim Deed dated May 12,
1969, conveying to the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, a portion
of Giboney Houck's Fifth Subdivision in the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, as more fully described h�reinafter in this ordinance,
and the City desires to accept such deed and have the same re-
corded.
NOW� THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MI5SOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, hereby
accepts a Quit Claim Deed dated May 12, 1969, executed by the
Board of Education, conveying to the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, the following described real estate located in the
City and County of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
All of that part of Block 7, Giboney Houck' s Fifth
5ubdivision, in the City and County of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, described as follows:
Begin at the intersection of the West line of Sturdivant
Street and the north line of Linden 5treet; thence North
along the West line of Sturdivant 5treet 48 feet; thence
in a Southwesterly direction with a curve to the left,
having a radius of 53 feet to the intersection with the
North line of Linden 5treet; thence East along the said
North line to the point of beginning.
and it is ordered that said deed be recorded in the Office of
the Recorder of Deeds of Cape Girardeau County, Missouri.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
ten �ys after its passage and approval.
