CITY MANAGER FORM ORDINANCE NO. ���,
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FORM OF A CONTRACT FOR EMERGENCY
AMBULANCE SERVICE TO BE SUBMITTED TO THE PROPER OFFICIALS
FOR PURPOSE5 OF SECURING A FEDERAL GRANT WITH AUTHORITY
FOR CITY OFFICIALS TO EXECUTE UPON APPROVAL OF THE GRANT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION l. The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, in
cooperation with the Cape Girardeau County Emergency 5ervice
Group is seeking a Federal Grant for purposes of providing a
community service for emergency ambulance facilities to be
furnished by the Cape County Private Ambulance Service, Inc.
Attached to this ordinance is an agreement between the Cape
County Private Ambulance Service, Inc. and Cape Girardeau �
County Emergency 5ervice Group which is made a part of the
ordinance as though fully incorporated herein and which is
labeled "Exhibit A" .
SECTION 2. The City of C�pe Girardeau agrees that it
will execute the agreement �hich is labeled "Exhibit A" at
the time the Federal Grant is approved. Exhibit A is to be
submitted to the proper officials for purpose of securing
a Federal Grant to participate in the costs of running an
emergency ambulance service.
5ECTION 3 . The officers of theCity of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, are hereby directed and authorized to execute the
agreement labeled "E�.ibit A" for and on behalf of the City
of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, at the time the Federal Grant
is approved.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect ten (10) days after its passage and approval.
