cextain �treet ri,ght of way in City Manager k'orm Ordinance No. 451
�rom Alphons�e M. 5chonhoff and Anna K. Schonhoff, I�.is wife; Raymond C.
Schonhof� and Alma S. Schonhoff, his �nrife; Leo B. Schonhoff, a
single person; and Walter k'. Schonfi.off, a �i;ngle person; and,
inTHEREAS, it has been determined by the Ci.ty Engineer that
portions o£ tIiis riglzt of �ay are no longer needed for the extension
of Independence Street; and,
�niHEREAS, the above individuals have signed and executed a
new conveyance granting to the City the necessary right of way for
Independence Street as extended, Now, Therefore;
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MIS50URI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION l. The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, hereby
vacates all of that land granted to the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, by a Quit Claim Deed Dated December 3, 1969, executed by
Alphonse M. Schonhoff and Anna K. 5chon�off, h.is �rife; Raymond C.
5chonhoff and Alma S . Schonhoff, his wife; Leo B. Schonhoff, a
single person; and 4�ialter F. Schonhoff, a single person, all of which
was accepted by the City in City Manager Form Ordinance No. 451.
SECTION 2. The Mayor of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri,
is hereby authori,zed and empowered to execute and deliver a Release
of the described easement in Section 1 above to those indivi.duals.

their heirs, successors or assigns for those portions of Independence
Street v�zhich are no longer needed and for wizich are not included
in the land conveyed to the City by a Quit Claim Deed, dated
May 5, 1970.

SECTION 3. The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, hereby
accepts a Quit Claim De.ed dated May 5, 1970, executed by Alphonse
M. SchonYioff and Anna K. Schonhoff, hi:s wife; Raymond C. Schonhoff
and A1ma S. Schonhoff, his wife; Leo B. 5chonh.of�, a single person;
and Walter F. Schonhoff, a single person, _conveying to the City of
Cape Girardeau, Missouri, the following described real estate located
in the City and County of Cape Girardeau, Miss�ouri:
Bart of Outlot 83, U.S.P. Survey No. 2199, Tovanship 3Q
Nortlz, Range 13 East, 5th Principal l�eridian, C�,tX and
County of Cape Girardeau, State of l�i�souri, being a strip
of land 8Q feet �ide, lying 40 feet each. side of the
following descri,bed center line:
