AN ORDINANCE GRANTING AN EXTENSION OF TIME TO C.E. & S. CONSTRUCTION
COMPANY TO COMPLETE TMPROVEMENT OF JEWEL DRIVE, FROM CAMELLIA DRIVE
TO EDGEWOOD ROAD

WHEREAS, b�r" contract duly authorized b�r ordinance, C. E. &
S. Construction Company agreed with the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, to improve that part of Jewel Drive, from the existing
concrete pavement at the west side of Camellia Drive to the center
of Edgewood Road, and to complete said improvement by December 24,
1969, and
WHEREA5, due to inability to work on account of weather
conditions and other city �ork, and
WHEREA5, said contractor has requested the City Counci.l to
grant him an additional extension of time until May 1, 1970, within
�nrhich to complete said improvement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CAPE GzRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTZON l. That C. E. & S . Construction Company, coritractor
for the im�rovemerit of Jewel Drive, from the existing concrete
pavement at the �rest side of Camellia Drive to the center of
Edgewood Road, is hereby given an extension of time until May 1,
1970, wi,thin �zhich to complete said improvement wi,th the City.
5ECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict intith the provisions hereof are hereby repealed.
5ECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
ten days after its passage and approval.
