CITY MANAGER FORM ORDINANCE NO.�
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 30 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF
THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, BY CHANGING THE ZONING
OF ALL OF LOT 5, BLOCK 1, HAMAN' S ADDITION FROM R-3 TO R-4.
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission has
recommended that all of the property descri,bed in Section 1 of
this �o�dinance should be rezoned from R-3 7.'iao-Family Dwelling
District to R-4 Multiple Dwelling District, and
WHEREAS, Public notice of such change �nras given as
prescribed in Chapter 30 of the Code of Ordinances of the City
of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and public hearing �nras held in
conformity with such notice on Wednesday, December 17, 1969, and
WHEREAS,. the Council of the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, has elected to rezone the property described in
Section 1 from R-3 'I�o-Family Dwelling District to R-4 Multiple
Draelling District, NOW, THEREFORE,

GZRARDEAU, MZS50URI, A8 FOLLOWS: '
SECTIONl. Chapter 30 of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, is hereby amended to change
the boundary of the present R-4 Multiple Dwelling District,
so as to include the follov�ring described property:
All of Lot 5, Block 1, Haman's Addition
(This� property is located at 108 North Park)
SECTION 2. The City Council hereby finds and declares
that the property described in Section 1 hereof i.s at the
present time particularly suitable for the uses and purposes
of R-4 Multiple D�aelling District, and that such changes
autho�ized hereby are reasonable and in reasonable conformity
with the existing uses and value of the immediately surrounding
properties.

SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be i.n full force and
effect ten day� after its passage and approval.
