AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A QUIT CLAIM DEED FROM CHA.RI�ES N. HARRIS,
CON5TANCE HA.RRIS, LA,ROY R. ROPER AND LEONE ROPER FOR PORTIONS OF
HAZEL STREET, LUCE 5TREET, GLADYS DRIVE, AND THEMIS STREET IN
CRITES THIRD ADDITION, CITY AND COUNTY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, STATE
OF MIS50UR2
WHEREA5, Charles N. Harris, Constance Harris, LaRoy R.
Roper and Leone Roper, have executed a Quit Claim Deed, conveying
to the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, portions of Hazel Street,
Luce Street, Gladys Drive and Themis Street in Crites Third Addition,
in the City and County of Cape Girardeau, Missauri, as more fully
described hereinafter in this Ordinance, and the City desires to
accept such deed and have the same recorded:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION l. The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, hereby
accepts a Quit Claim Deed executed by Charles N. Harris, Constance
Harris, LaRoy R. Roper and Leone Roper, conveying to the City of
Cape Girardeau, Missouri, the following described real estate located
in the City and County of Cape Girardeau, Missouri:
Hazel Street, from the south line of Themis Street
to its intersection with Luce Street; Luce Street from
its intersection with Hazel Street to a point 10 feet
west of the west line of Gladys Drive; Gladys Drive, from
the south line of Luce 5treet, south a distance of 50 feet;
Themis Street, from the west line of East Rodney Drive
to a point 10 feet west of the west line of Gladys Drive,
as all of the above streets are platted and designated
on the plat of Crites Third Addition, accepted by City
Manager Form Ordinance No. 502 .
SECTION 2. It is ordered by the Council of the City of Cape
Girardeau that said deed be recorded by the City Clerk in the Office
of the Recorder of Deeds of Cape Girardeau County, Missouri .
5ECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
ten days after its passage and approval.
