CITY MANAGER FORM ORDINANCE NO. �'3 -~,�
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 30 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCE5 OF
THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEA.U, MI5SOURI, BY CHANGING THE ZONING
OF PART OF U.5.P. SURVEY NO. 3091, TOWNSHIP 31 NORTH, RANGE 14
EA5T, CITY AND COUNTY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, STATE OF MI5SOURI,
FROM R-1 TO MH-1
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission has
recommended that all of the property described in Section 1
of this Ordinance should be rezoned from R-1 Single-Family
Dwelling District to MH-1 Mobile Home Park District; and
WHEREAS, Public Notice of such change was given as
prescribed in Chapter 30 of the Code of Ordinances of the City
of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and public hearing was held on
Wednesday, December 6, 1972; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the .City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, has elected to rezone the property described in
Section 1 from R-1 5ingle-Family Dwelling District to MH-1 Mobile
Home Park District;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION l. Chapter 30 of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, is hereby amended to change the
boundary of the present MH-1 Mobile Home Park District so as to
include the following described property:
A part of U. S,P. Survey No. 3091, Township 31
North, Range 14 East, City and County of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri, described as follows:
Start at the Northwest corner of said U.S .P.
Survey No. 3091; thence 5outh 89° 30 ' East, along
the North line thereof, 947 .0 feet for the point
of beginning; thence continue South 89° 30 ' East,
397. 0 feet; thence South 21° 0 ' West, 620 .0 feet;
thence North 70° 30 ' West, 27.0 feet; thence North
59° 0 ' West, 110 .0 feet; thence South 20° 15' East,
56 .0 feet; thence North 40° 30 ' West, 321.0 feet;
thence North 69° 17 ' W�st, 61.0 feet thence North
39° 0 ' East, 435. 5 feet to the point of beginning
and contains 5 .26 acres, more or less .
SECTION 2. The City Council hereby finds and declares
that the property described in Section 1 hereof is at the
present time particularly suitable for the purposes and uses

of MH-1 Mobi:le Home Park District, and that such changes
authorized hereby are reasonable and in reasonable conformity
with the existing uses and value of the immediately surrounding
properties.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect ten days after its passage and approval.
