CITY MANAGER FORM ORDINANCE NO. '�
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 26-114 (a) OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES,
CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MIS50URI, BY ADDING THERETO A CERTAIN NEW
SUBSECTION PERTAINING TO PROHIBITED PARKING AREAS IN THE CITY OF
CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MIS50URI, AS FOLLOW5:
5ECTION l. 5ection 26-114 (a) of the Code of Ordinances of
the City of Cape Girardeau, Missauri, is hereby amended by adding
thereto a certain new subsection at the end of Section 26-114 (a)
reading as follows:
" (16) Within three (3) feet of a commercial,
industrial or private residential driveway entrance
whethe:r signposted or marked or not without the
consent of the owner of the property; or within eight (8J
feet of the entrance to an alley whether signposted
or marked or not, without the consent of the Police
Departmerit of the City of Cape Girardeau. "
SECTION 2. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause,
phrase or portion of this ordinance is for any reason held invalid
or unconstitutional by any Court of competent jurisdiction, such
portion shall be deemed a separate, distinCt and independent
provision and such holding shall not affect the validity of the
remaining portions hereof.
SEGTION 3. It is the intention of the governing body and
it is he:reby ordained that the: provisions of this ordinance shall
become and be made a part of the Code of Ordinances, City of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri, and the sections of th'is Code may be renumbered
to accomplish such intention.
SECTION 4 . This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect ten days after its passage and approval.
