CITY MANAGER FORM ORDINANCE N0. �7�,
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING CITY MANAGER FORM ORDINANCE N0. 36 ,
RELATING TO DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME FOR THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MI5SOURI
WHEREAS, in City Manager Form Ordinance No. 36, passed
and approved March 2, 1966, the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri,
adopted certain specified Daylight Saving Times ; and
WHEREA5, since that date the Federal Government has
enacted laws (See 15 U.S.C. ��260-267) establishing National
Daylight 5aving Time Zones, thereby prohibiting the enactment
of local time differentials; and
WHEREAS, City Manager Form Ordinance No. 36 is in
conflict with Federal Law;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MIS50URI , AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. City Manager Form Ordinance No. 36 is
hereby repealed in its entirety.
5ECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect ten days after its passage and approval.
