AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT FOR SEWERS IN SEWER DISTRICT
NO. 14-K FROM LEONARD W. LOWES AND HELEN J. LOWES, IN THE CITY
AND COUNTY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, STATE OF MISSOURI

WHEREAS, Leonard W. Lowes and Helen J. Lowes, husband
and wife,have executed an easement for sewers in Sewer �istrict
No. 14-K, corrveying to the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri,
land all in the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and all as
more fully described hereinafter ix� the ordinance, and the

City desires to accept such easement and have the same recorded;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI , AS FOLLOW5:
SECTION l. The City of Cape Girardeau, P�issouri , hereby
accepts an easement for sewers, executed by Leonard W. Lowes
and Helen J. Lowes, husband and wife, conveying to the City of
Cape Girardeau, Missouri, an easement for sewers in Sewer
District No. 14-K on the following described real estate located
in the City and County of Cape Girardeau, Missouri:
Part of Lots No. 47 through 55, inclusive,
Woodland Hills Estates, being a strip of land
5 feet wide, the center line of said strip being
described as follows:
Begin at a point on the line between Lots 46
and 47, said point being 83 feet west of the
southeast corner of Lot 47; thence in a northeast
direction to a point on the line between Lots 48
and 49, said point being 86 feet west of the
southeast corner of Lot 49; thence in a northeast
direction to a point on the line between Lots 51
and 52, said point being 130 .6 feet west of the
southeast corner of Lot 52; thence in a northeast
direction to a point on the line between Lots 52
and 53, said point being 124.9 feet west of the
southeast corner of Lot 53; thence in a northeast
direction to a point on the line between Lot 53
and 54, said point being 118. 4 feet west of the
southeast corner of Lot 54; thenCe in a northeast
direction along a line, which extended will
intersect the north line of Kenneth Drive at a
point 50 feet west of the west line of Kent Drive,
to the north line of Lot 55, same being the south
line of Kenneth Drive, and there terminating.
and it is ordered that said easement be recorded in the Office
of the Recorder of Deeds of Cape Girardeau County, Missouri .

SECTION 2. The easement hereby conveyed as described
in Section 1 hereof is for the purpose of enabling the City,
its agents, servants and assigns , to install, lay, erect,
construct, maintain, operate and repair a certain sewer pipe
or sewer main which is to be placed in, on, upon, or across
said property described, together with all the useful, necessary
and proper adjuncts, appurtenances, manholes, and appliances
in connection therewith.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect ten days after its passage and approval.
