AN ORDINANCE GRANTING AN EXTENSION OF TIME TQ LANG5TON BROTHER5
A5PHA,LT COMPANY TO COMPLETE THE IMPROVEMENT OF INDEPENDENCE
STREET, GORDONVILLE ROAD AND EAST RODNEY DRIVE INTERSECTION, IN
THE CITY OF CAPE GIR.ARDEAU, MISSOURI
WHEREA5, by contract duly authorized or ordinance, Langston
Brothers Asphalt Company agreed with the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, to improve part of Independence Street, Gordonville Road
and East Rodney Drive intersection, and to complete said improvement
by September 21, 19 73; and,
WHEREA5, due to inability to work on account of utility
adjustment and fair activity; and,
WHEREAS, said contractor has requested the City Council
to grant an extension of time until November 30, 1973, within
which to complete said improvement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNGIL OF THE CITY
OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MIS50URI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION l. That Langston Brothers Asphalt Company, contractor
for the improvement of Independerice Street, Gordonville Road and
East Rodney Drive intersection, is hereby given an extension of time
until November 30, 1973, within which to complete said improvement
with the City.
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict with the provisions hereof are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
ten days after its passage and approval.
