AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 26-50 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRA.RDEAU, MI550URI, BY ADDING THERETO
ONE NEW 5UBSECTION TO BE KNOWN AS SUBBEGTION (f) RELATING TO
RIGHT-OF-WAY AT "T" INTERSECTIONS
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, A5 FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 26-50 of the Code of Ordinances of
the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, is hereby amended by adding
thereto one new subsection to be known as subsection (f) , reading
as f ollows:
" (f) Approaching "T" intersection.
The driver of a vehicle approaching a "T"
intersection on that street whi�h deadends into
the street which goes through, �shall yield the
right-of-way to other vehicles which have entered
the intersection or which are approaching so closely
thereto as to constitute an immediate h azard. "
SECTION 2. If any section, subsection, sentence , clause,
phrase or portion of this ordinance is for any reason heTd invalid
or unconstitutional by any Court of competent jurisdiction, such
portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct and indeperident
provision and such holding shall not affect the �ralidity of the
remaining portions hereof.
5ECTION 3 . This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect ten days after its passage and approval.
