AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 30 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE
CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF PART
OF U. S. PRIVATE SURVEY NO. 174, TOWNSHIP 30 NORTH, RANGE 13 EAST,
CITY AND COUNTY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, 5TATE OF MI5SOURI, FROM R-1 TO
MH-1
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission has
recommended that all the property described in S-ction 1 of this
ordinance should be rezoned f�om R-1 Sing].e-Family Dwelling District
to MH-1 Mobile Home Park District; and,
WHEREAS, Public Notice of such change was given as prescribed
in Chapter 30 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri , and public hearing was held on Wednesday, July 18 , 1973;
and,
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri,
has elected to rezone the property described in 5ection 1 from R-1
Single-Family Dwelling District to MH-1 Mobile Home Park District;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOW5:
SECTION 1. Chapter 30 of the Code of Ordinances of the City
of Cape Girardeau, Missouri , is hereby amended to change the boundary
of the present MH-1 District so as to include the following described
property:
Part of U. S. Private 5urvey No. 174, Township 30
North, Range 13 East, City and County of Cape Girardeau,
Miss�uri, described as follows :
Begin at the northeast corner of said U.S. Private
5urvey No. 174; thence N. 82° 39 ' W. , with the north line
of said 5urvey No. 174 , 1123 .2 feet; thence S. 6° 22 ' W. ,
323.4 feet; thenCe S . 1° 52 ' W. , 682 .0 feet; thence 5.
88° 59 ' E . , 150. 2 feet; thence S . 82° 40 ' E. , 903. 3 feet
to the east line of said Survey No. 174; thence N. 7° 20 '
E. , with said east line 985. 3 feet to the point of
beginning.
SECTION 2. The City Council hereby finds and declares that
the property described in 5ection 1 hereaf is at the present time
particularly suitable for the purposes and uses of MH-1 Mobile Home
Park District, and that such changes authorized hereby are reasonable
and in reasonab le conformity with the ex.isting uses and value of the
immediately surrounding properties .

SECTION 3. This ordinance shall. be in full force and
effect ten days after its passage and approval.
