AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GENERAL WARRA.NTY DEED FROM RUTH KEL50
RENFROW, LOUI5 HUBER RENFROW, RICHARD NEL50N RENFROW, EDITH
JOSEPHINE RENFROW, ROBERT KELSO RENFROW, AND NANCY JANE RENFROW,
FOR PART OF U.S.P. SURVEY NO. 3091, TOWNSHIP 31 NORTH, RANGE 14
EAST, CITY AND COUNTY OF CA.PE GIRARDEAU, MI550URI; APPROVING THE
FORM OF AN AGREEMENT WITH AUTHORITY FOR THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE, AND
AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF A SUM OF MONEY FOR REAL ESTATE, FOR THE
PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTING A 5EWAGE TREATMENT FACILITY
WHER:EAS, the City of Cape Girardeau is required to obtain a
parcel of ground for the purpose of constructing a sewage treatment
facility; and,
WHEREAS, Ruth Kelso Renfrow, Louis Huber Renfrow, Richard
Nelson Renfrow, Edith Josephine Renfrow, Robert Kelso Renfrow and
Nancy Jane Renfrow are the owners of said parcel of ground and they
desire to transfer to the City the traCt necessary to accomplish
that purpose with the reservation of some rights to cross said
property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CAPE GIRA.RDEAU, MI550URI, A5 FOLLOW5:
SECTION l. The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, hereby
accepts a General Warranty Deed from Ruth Kelso Renfrow, Louis Huber
Renfrow, Richard Nelson Renfrow, Edith Josephine Renfrow, Robert
Kelso Renfrow and Nancy Jane Renfrow, conveying to the City of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri, the following described real estate ✓located in
the City and County of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, ta-wit:
Part of U.S.P. 5urvey No. 3091, Township 31 North,
Range 14 East, in the City and County of Cape Girardeau,
State af Missouri, described as follows:
Part of Tract No. 5 of a parcel of land as described
in a deed recorded in Book 92 at Page 240 in the land
records of Cape Girardeau County, described as follows:

SECTION 2 . It is hereby ordered by the Council of the City
of Cape Girardeau that said deed be recorded by the City Clerk in
the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of Cape Girardeau County,
Missouri.
SECTION 3. That the Agreemerit between the City of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri, and Ruth Kelso Renfrow, Louis Huber Renfrow,
Richard Nelson Renfrow, Edith Josephine Renfrow, Robert Kelso Renfrow
and Nancy Jane Renfrow, a copy of which is attached hereto marked
"Exhibit A" , is approved in form.
SECTION 4. That the Mayor of the City of Cape Girardeau is
hereby authorized and directed to exeCute the Agreement between the
City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri and Ruth Kelso Renfrow, Louis Huber
Renfrow, Richard Nelson Renfrow, Edith Josephine Renfrow, Robert Kelso
Renfrow and Nancy Jane Renfrow, attached hereto marked "E�ibit A" ,
for and on behalf of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
5ECTION 5 . Payment of the sum of Nine Thousand Dollars
($9,000 . 00) is hereby authorized to be ma.de by the City of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri, to Ruth Kelso Renfrow, Louis Huber Renfrow,
Richard Nelson Renfrow, Edith Joseph 'ine Renfrow, Robert Kelso Renfrow
and Nancy Jane Renfrow for the parcel of ground described in Section 1
of this Ordinance, in accordance with the provisions of the Agreement
attached hereto marked "Exhibit A" .
SECTION 6 . This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
ten days after its passage and approval.
