AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A QUIT CLAIM DEED FROM LAROY R. ROPER AND
L. LEONE ROPER FOR PART OF LOT l, RODNEY 400 ARPEN TRACT, U. S .
PRIVATE SURVEY NO. 2199, CITY AND COUNTY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, STATE
OF MISSOURI
WHEREAS, LaRoy R. Roper and L. Leone Roper, husband and
wife, have executed a Quit Claim Deed, conveying to the City
of Cape Girardeau part of Lot 1, Rodney 400 Arpen Tract, U. S .
Private Survey No. 2199 , in the City and County of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri, as more fully desaribed hereinafter in
this Ordinance, and the City desires to accept such deed and
have the same recorded;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNGIL OF THE
CITY OF CAPE GIR.A.RDEA.U, MI550URI, AS FOLLOW5:
5ECTION l. The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, hereby
accepts a Quit Claim Deed executed by LaRoy R. Roper and L. Leone
Roper, husband and wife, conveying to the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, the following described real estate located in the
City and County of Cape Girardeau, Missouri:
Part of Lot l, Rodney 400 Arpen Tract, U.5 .
Private 5urvey No. 2199, City and County of
Cape Girardeau, State of Missouri, described as
follows:
Start at the intersection of the North line of
Walnut Street and the East line of Route No. 61;
thence North 10°� 37' East, along the East line of
Route No. 61, 500 . 0 feet; thence North 79° 23'
West, 10.0 feet; thence North 10° 37' East, with
said East line of Route No. 61, 459 . 0 feet to the
Northwest corner of a parcel of land as same is
described in a deed recorded in Book 148 at Page 523
of the land records of Cape Girardeau County,
Missouri, for the point of beginning; thence continue
North 10° 37 ' East, with said East line of Route No. 61,
33. 8 feet; thence North 45° 40 ' East, parallel with the
North line of said parcel of land, 209 . 3 feet; thence
5outh 10° 37 ' West, 35. 3 feet, to the Northeast corner
of said parcel of land; thence South 45° 40 ' West,
with the North line of said parcel of land, 209 . 0
feet to the point of beginning.
5ECTION 2. It is ordered by the Council of the City of
Cape Girardeau that said deed be recorded by the City Clerk in
the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of Cape Girardeau County,
Missouri .
SECTION 3 . This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect ten days after its passage and approval.
