Cape Girardeau Regional Airport Advisory Board Meeting - Minutes
May 4, 2022-Special Meeting
The Cape Girardeau Regional Airport Advisory Board held a special meeting on May 4, 2022 at 1:30 pm
at The Pilot House Restaurant.
Board Members Present: Staff Present:
Joe Uzoaru, Board Member Katrina Amos, Airport Manager
Richard Knote, Chair Audrey Lorch, Airport Support Spec.
Beverly Cleair, Vice Chair
Justin Davidson, Board Member (via phone)
Mike Marshall, Board Member
Shawn Wasson, Board Member
Jeff Brune, Board Member
Others Present: Ryan Dewrock
Absent:
I. Call to Order/Approval of Minutes - The meeting was called to order at 1:30 pm.
Appearances – Dr. Quantella Noto, Mark Mehner – Newly elected board members
II. Old Business -
Airline Update –Ms. Amos called a meeting to update the Board Members about a possible transition
with a new Essential Air Service (EAS) market, The Board was informed on several options to take into
future consideration.
After discussion of the proposals submitted, Mr. Uzoaru moved and Mr. Brune seconded a motion that
the Airport Advisory Board will not select any carriers that will require the City of Cape Girardeau to
waive its right to twin-engine (jet) service in the future. All members were in favor and the motion was
approved with unanimous vote.
