AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FORM OF A REAL ESTATE SALE CONTRACT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI AND SOUTHEAST MISSOURI
STATE UNIVERSITY, FOR PROPERTY AT 221 NORTH FOUNTAIN, AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
WHEREAS, the City of Cape Girardeau, P�iissouri is the owner
of certain property at 221 North Fountain in the City of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri; and
WHEREAS, Southeast Missouri State University desires to
purchase said property; and
WfiEREAS, the said parties desire to enter into a Real Estate
Sale Contract for said property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE I'I' ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The "Real Estate Sale Contract'� , copy attached
hereto marked Exhibit "A" between the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri and the Board of Regents of Southeast i"�Iissouri State
University, is approved as to form.
SECTION 2. The �ayor of the CiLy of Cape Girardeau, Niissouri
is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Contract, copy
attached hereto marked Exhibit °'A" , for and on behalf of the City
of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
ten days after its passage and approval.
