AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A QUIT CLAIM DEED FROP�I LEONARD W. LOWES
AND HELEN J. LOWES, FOR STREET IMPROVEMENTS IN HADDOCK' S SECOND
SUBDIVISION, CITY AND COUNTY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, STATE OF MISSOURI
WHEREAS, Leonard W. Lowes and Helen J. Lowes, his wife, have
executed a Quit Claim Deed, conveying to the City of Cape Girardeau,
P�Iissouri, certain street improvements in Haddock' s Second Subdivision,
in the City and County of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, as more fully
described hereinafter in this ordinance, and the City desires to
accept such deed and have the same recorded;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION l. The City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, hereby
accepts a Quit Claim Deed, executed by Leonard W. Lowes and Helen
J. Lowes, his wife, conveying to the City of Cape Girardeau,
P�issouri, the following described real estate located in the City
and County of Cape Girardeau, Missouri:
That part of Haddock Street and Scott Street as shown
and designated on the plat of Haddock' s Second Subdivision,
as recorded in Plat Book 10 , Page 14, in the land records of
Cape Girardeau County, Missouri.
SECTION 2. It is ordered by the Council of the City of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri, that said deed be recorded by the City Clerk
in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of Cape Girardeau County,
Missouri.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
ten days after its passage and approval.
