AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FORM OF A LAND AND WATER CONSERVATION
FUND PROJECT AMENDMENT, FOR SWIRiMING POOL DEVELOPMENT, AUTHORIZING
THE N�YOR TO EXECUTE
WHEREAS, the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, a Municipal
Corporation and the State of Missouri, acting through the State
Liaison Officer for the State Inter-Agency Council for Outdoor
Recreation have previously entered into an agreement for swimming
pool development, designated as BOR Project Number 29-00826; and
WHEREAS, there is a need to amend said project agreement;
NOYJ, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION l. The "Land and Water Conservation Fund Project
Amendment" , copy attached hereto marked Exhibit "A" , for BOR
Project Number 29-00826, is hereby approved as to form.
SECTION 2. The Mayor of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri,
is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Project Amendment,
copy attached hereto marked Exhibit "A" , for and on behalf of the
City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
ten days after its passage and approval.

AMENDMENT TO PROJECT AGREEMENT FOR STATE AGENCY OR POLITICAL SUBDIVISION

THIS AMENDMENT TO PROJECT AGREEMENT 29-00826
is hereby made and agreed upon by t e tate o issouri , acting t roug t e
State liaison Officer for the State Inter-Agency Council for Outdoor Recreation
and by the Political Subdivision Cit of Ca e Girardeau
pursuant to the Land and Water Conservation Fund ct of 965, 8 Stat. 897 9G4).
The Political Subdivision and the State of Missouri , in mutual consideration of
the promises made herein and in the project agreement of which this is an
amanc�nent� do promise as follows:
That the above mentioned agreement is amended by changing Paragraph 1 under the
special project terms and conditions on page 10 of the project agreement to
read as follows:
"Claims for reimbursement shall be submitted within 90 days of
the project period or within 90 days of the completion of the pro-
ject, whichever comes first, or the Council may terminate obligation
for reimbursement. "
In all other respects the project agreement of which this is an amendment, and the
plans and specifications relevant thereto, shall remain in full force and effect.
In witness whereof the parties hereto have executed this amendment as of the date
entered above.
