AN ORDSNANCE ELECTING A BENEFIT PROGF2A,M IN THE MISSOURT LOCAL
GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEE ' RETIREMENT SYSTEM FOR CERTATN EMPLOYEES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIR,ARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SEGTION l. The Gity of Cape Girardeau, Missouri,
hereby elects Benefit Program LT=4 for fireman members in
accordance with the provisions of Section 70 .655, RSMo, as
amended. The Clerk shall certify this election to the Missouri
Local Government Employees` Retirement System within ten
days hereof. Such election shall be effective on the lst
day of September, 1978.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect ten days after its passage and approval.
