CITY MANAGER FORM ORDINANCE N0. � 3�0
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING CITY MANAGER FORM ORDINANCE NO. 1092 AND
ENACTING A NEW ORDINANCE IN LIEU THEREOF ESTABLISHING THE GRADE
OF HAWTHORNE DRIVE FROM A POINT 38 FEET SOUTH OF THE CENTER LINE
OF HOPPER ROAD TO THE WEST EDGE OF EAST RODNEY DRIVE, IN THE
CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOUR�, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. City Manager Form Ordinance No. 1092, passed
and approved May 5, 1976 is hereby repealed in its entirety.
SECTION 2. That the grade as hereinafter desaribed shall
be the grade for the center of Hawthorne Drive, from a point
38 feet South of the center line of Hopper Road, South to the
West edge of the pavement at East Rodney Drive, in the City of
Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and is in reference to Mean Sea Level,
and is given in feet, more particularly described as follows:
Begin at a point 38 feet South of the center line of Hopper
Road, which point for the purpose of this description shall be
known as Station 0 + 13, with an elevation of 381.59 ; therice
South with a descending grade of 3.46� to an elevation of 380 .3
at Station 0 + 50; thence with a vertical curve to an elevation
of 378.1 at Station 1 + 50; thence with a descending grade of
1.0� to an elevation of 377.6 at Station 2 + 00; therice with
a vertical curve to an elevation of 376. 8 at Station 3 + 00;
thence with a descending grade of 0. 56% to an elevation of 376.0
at Station 4 + 50; thence with a vertical curve to an elevation
of 375.6 at Station 5 + 50; thence with a descending grade of
0 .1� to an elevation of 375.0 at Station 11 + 50; thence with
a vertical curve to an elevation of 375.0 at Station 12 + 50;
thence with a flat grade of 0.0% to an elevation of 375.0 at
Station 17 + 50; thence with a vertical curve to an eledation
of 375.2 at Station 18 + 50; thence with an ascending grade of
0 . 4� to an elevation of 375.6 at Station 19 + 50; thence with
a vertical curve to an eleVation of 375.7 at Station 20 + 50;
thence with a descending grade of O.lo to an elevation of 375.6
at Station 21 + 50; thence with a vertical curve to an elevation
of 375.1 at Station 22 + 50; thence with a descending grade of
1.0� to an eledation of 373.6 at Station 24 + OO; thence with
a vertical curve to an elevation of 373.5 at Station 25 + 00;
thence with an ascending grade of 0. 8� to an elevation of 375. 5
at Station 27 + 50; thence with a vertical curve to an elevation
of 375.9 at Station 28 + 50; thence with a flat grade of 0 .0�
to an elevation of 375.9 at Station 29 + 00; thence with a vertical
curve to an elevation of 375.6 at Station 30 + 00; thence with
a desaending grade of 0.68� to an elevation of 373.1 at Station
33 + 50; thence with a vertical curve to an elevation of 372. 8
at Station 34 + 50 ; thence with a flat grade of 0 .0� to an elevation
of 372. 8 at Station 36 + 50; thence with a vertical curve to
an elevation of 372.6 at Station 37 + 50; thence with a desaending
grade of 0.48� to an eledation of 371.9 at Station 38 + 91.86
at the West edge of pavement of East Rodney Drive and there terminating.

SECTION 3. This ordinance sha11 be in full force and
effgct ten days after its passage and approval.
