AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE GRADE OF CAPE ROCK DRIVE FROM A POINT 19.5 FEET
EAST OF THE EAST RIGHT—OF—WAY LINE OF PERRYVILLE ROAD EXTENDED NORTH, 4065.69
FEET TO A POINT ON THE NORTH SECTION LINE OF SECTION 30, TOWNSHIP 31 NORTH,
RANGE 14 EA.ST OF THE FIFTH PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN..
BE IT ORDA.INED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the grade as hereinafter described shall be the grade for
the center line of Cape Rock Drive, from a point 19.5 feet East of the East
right—of—way line of Perryville Road extended North to a point on the North line
of Section 30, Township 31 North, Range 14 East of the .Fifth Principal Meridian,
all within the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri and is with ref.erence to mean
Sea Level.
SECTION 2. Begin at a point in the cen.ter of Cape Rock Drive and 19.5 feet
East of the East right—of—way line of Perryville Road extended North, which
point for the purpose of this description shall be known as Station 0 + 19.5,
with an elevation of 397.41 ; Thence Easterly with an ascending �rade of 1.0%
to an elevation of 398.11 at Station 0 + 90; Thence with a vertical curve to
an elevation of 405.31 at Station 2 + 50, at the point of Tangency; Thence
with an ascending grade of 8.0% to an elevation of 412.11 at Station 3 + 35;
Thence with a vertical curve to an elevation of 419.61 at the point of Tangency
at Station 4 + 65; Thence with an ascending grade of 3.54% to an elevation of
423.33 at Station 5 + 70; Thence with a vertical curve to an elevation of 424,72
at the point of Tangency at Station 7 + 30; Thence wir.h a descending grade of
1.8% to an elevation of 417.92 at Station 11 + 08; Thence with a vertical curve
to an elevat.ion of 416.76 at the point of Tangency at Station 12 + 08; Thence
wi.th a descending grade of 0.514% to an elevation of 416.07 at Station 13 + 43.62;
Thence with a vertical curve to an elevation of 415.96 at Station 13 + 72.39, which
point hereforeward shall be known as Station 13 + 78.77 ahead; Thence continue along
said vertical curve to an elevation of 416.06 at the point of Tan,�ency at Stat�on 14
+ 50; Thence with an ascending grade of 0.5% to an elevation of 416.81 at Station
16 + 00; Thence with a vertical curve to an elevation of 418.31 at the point of
Tangency at Station 17 + 00; Thence with an ascending grade of 2.5% to an elevation
of 422.06 at Sration 18 + 50; Thence �•aith a verti_cal curve to an elevation of 425.01
at the point of Tangency at Station 19 + 50; Thence with an ascending grade of

curve to an elevation of 435.96 at the point of Tangency at Station 23 + 00;
Thence with an ascending grade of 1.5% to an elevation of 442.41 at Station
27 + 30; Thence with a vertical curve to an elevation of 444.76 at the point
of Tangency at Station 28 + 30; Thence with an ascending grade of 3.2% to an
elevation of 451.15 at Station 30 + 30; Thence with a vertical curve to an
elevation of 453.25 at the point of Tangency at Station 31 + 30; Thence with
an ascending grade of 1.0% to an elevation of 455.85 at Station 33 + 90; Thence
with a vertical curve to an elevation of 458.20 at a point of Tangency at
Station 34 + 90; Thence with an ascending grade of 3.7% to an elevation of 474.48
at Station 39 + 30; Thence with a vertical curve to an elevation of 476.83 at
the point of Tangency at Station 40 + 30; Thence with an ascending grade of
1.0% to an elevation of 477.45 at Station 40 + 91.57, and there terminate.
SECTION 3. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from
and after ten (10) days following it's passage and ap roval.
