AN ORD.INANCE ESTABLISHING THE BOUNDARIES. OF SEWER DISTRICT
N0. 14-L-2 A SUBDIVISION OF SEWER DISTRICT NO. 14 APPROVING
THE PLANS FOR THE CONSTRUCT.ION OF A SYSTEM OF SANITARY LATERAL
SEWERS. IN SEWER .DISTRICT NO. 14-L-2 AND AUTHORIZING THE CONSTRUCTION
OF SANITARY LATERAL SEWERS IN SEWER DISTRICT NO. 14-L-2 UNDER
A PRIVATE CONTRACT SUBJECT TO CERTAIN PROVISIONS, IN THE GITY
OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE .COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI., AS FOLLOWS:
SE T.ION 1. That the boundaries of Sewer D.istrict
No. 14-L-2 a subdivision of Sewer District No. 14 in the City
of Cape Gi ardeau, Missouri, ,shall be as follows:
A part of Qutlot 83, U. S. Private Survey 2199,
de cribed as follows : Begin at the intersection of
th east line of Mt. Auburn Road and the narth line
of Independence Street, thence Nartherly with the
ea t line of Mt. Auburn Road, 650 .06 feet to a point
wh ch is 650 feet narth of and measured normal to
th north line of Independence Street; therice Easterly,
pa allel to and 650 feet north measured normal to
th north line of Independence Street, to the east
li e of said Outlot 83; thence Southerly with the
ea t line of said Outlot 83 to the north line of Indepen-
d ce Street, therice Westerly with the north line
of Independence Street to the point of beginning.
SE TION 2. That the plans for the construciton of
a system o sanitary lateral sewers to serve Sewer District
No. 14-L-2 a copy of which is on file in the office of the
City Clerk are hereby approved and ordered filed.
SE TION 3 . That the owners of lands in said Sewer
District N . 14-L-2 are hereby granted permission to construct
said syste of sanitary lateral sewers in Sewer District No.
14-L-2 and ta connect same to existing sewers in Sewer District
No. 12-PP nd 14-L, subject to the following provisions.
l. That proper authority has been secured to
proceed fr m the Missouri Glean Water Commission.
2. That all permanent easements for said sewers
on private property are made to the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, rior to execution of a contract for the work of
constructi n of said sewers.

3 . That all City Ordinances, Standard Specifications
of the Ci and State laws applicable to this project will
be observe in all respects.
4. That the quality of the work and materials
be inspect d by the agents of the Department of Public Works
of t.he sai City, and the cost of said inspections be paid
to said Ci y following the completion of the work and its
acceptance by said City and the Missouri Clean Water Commission.
SE TION 4 . That this ordinance shall take effect
and be in ull force `from and after ten days following its
passage an approval.
