CITY MANAGER FORM ORDINANCE NO. ����
AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORT:ION OF SPRIGG ROAD, IN THE CITY
AND COUNTY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNGIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MIS50URI, A5 FOLLOWS :
SECTION 1. That portion of Sprigg Road in the City
of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, described as follows :
Sprigg Road from the West right-of-way line
of Sprigg Street, Northwesterly to the point of intersec-
tion of the South right-of-way line of Bertling Street
and there terminating; EXCEPTING THEREFROM, Description
of Center Line of a forty (40) foot utility and sewer
easement for sanitary sewers, electric, natural gas ,
and water distribution and transmission, on Center
Line of "Old Sprigg Street Road" , part of Outlot
72, U.S. Private Survey 2199 , City and County of
Cape Girardeau, State of Missouri, described as follows:
Start at the intersection of the center line
of the concrete pavement on Sprigg Street and Bertling
Street; thence N. 84° W. , with the center line of
the concrete pavement on Bertling Street, 1063 .2
feet to the intersection of the center line of the
"Old Sprigg Street Road" , for the point of beginning;
thence S . 32° 33 ' E. ,82. 8 feet to the point of curve
of a curve :to the right having a radius of 941.28
feet; thence Southeasterly with said curve to the
right 79 .95 feet to the point of tangent of said
curve; thence S . 27° 41 ' E. , 196 .4 feet to the point
of curve of a curve to the left having a radius of
1061.35 feet; thence Southeasterly with said curve,
79 .96 feet to the point of tangent of said curve;
thence S. 32° 00 ` E. , 100.4 feet to the point of
curve of a curve to the right having a radius of
237.4 feet; thence Southerly with said curve, 163 .24
feet to the point of tangent of said curve; thence
S . 7° 24 ' W. , 60 .4 feet to the point of curve of
a curve to the left having a radius of 436 .01 feet;
thence Southerly with said curve 79 .77 feet to the
point of tangent of said curve; thence S. 3° 05 '
E. , 55. 8 feet to the point of curve of a curve to
the left having a radius of 299 .43 feet; thence Southeasterly
with said curve 108 .79 feet to the point of tangent
of said curve; thence S. 23° 54 ' E . , 3. 8 feet to
the point of curve of a curve to the left having
a radius of 258.0 feet; thence Southeasterly with
said curve 117.90 feet to the point of tangent of
said curve; thence S . 50° 05 ' E. , 354.6 feet to the
point of curve of a curve to the right having a radius
of 500.2 feet; thenc� Southeasterly with said curve
99.67 feet to the point of tangent of said curve;
thence S. 38° 40 ' E. , 110.2 feet to the point of
curve of a curve to the left having a radius of 546 .57
feet; thence Southeasterly with said curve 59 .94
feet to the point of tangent of said curve; thence

S . 44° 57 ' E. , 55. 7 feet to a point on the back of
the curb of the concrete pavement on Sprigg Street,
which point bears 'North, along the back of the curb
of the concrete pavement on Sprigg, 2067.5 feet from
the South line of said Outlot 72, and there terminating.
is not necessary or needed for any of the public purposes
for which it was established.
SECTION 2 . Sprigg Road as described in Section 1
of this Ordinance is hereby vacated, subject to the abovementioned
easements, by the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
SECTION 3. The Mayor of the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, is hereby authorized and empowered to execute and
deliver quit claim deeds for the vacated portion of the above
desaribed land to the abutting property owners.
5ECT.ION 4 . This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect ten days after its passage and approval.
