AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF WOODLAND DRIVE, IN THE
CITY AND COUNTY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNGIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRA.RDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION l. That portion of Woodland Drive in the
City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, described as follows:
Woodland Drive, Eastward from Henderson Avenue
to its terminus as shown on a plat recorded in Plat
Book 4, Page 16 of the land records of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri.
is not necessary or needed for any of the public purposes
for which it was established.
SECTION 2. Woodland Drive as described in Section
1 of this Ordinance is hereby vacated by the City of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri.
SECTION 3. The Mayor of the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, is hereby authorized and empowered to execute and
deliver quit claim deeds for the vacated portion of the above
described land to the abutting property owners .
SECTION 4 . This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect ten days after its passage and approval.

me appeared HOWARD C. TOOKE, to me personally known, who,
being by me duly sworn, did say that he is the Mayor of the
City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, a municipal corporation
of the State of Missouri, and that the seal affixed to the
foregoing instrument is the seal of said City and that the
said instrument was signed and sealed in behalf of said Gity
by authority of its City Council and acknowledged said instrument
to be the free act and deed of said City.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand
and affixed my official seal, at my office in Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, the day and year first above written.
