AN ORDINANCE E5TABLISHING THE BOUNDARIES OF SEWER DISTRICT N0.
12-G-1-A, A SUBDIVISION OF SEWER DISTRICT NO. 12, APPROVING THE
PLANS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SYSTEM OF SANITARY LATERAL SEWERS
IN SEWER DISTRICT NO. 12-G-1-A AND AUTHORIZING THE CONSTRUCTION
OF SANITARY LATERAL SEWERS IN SEWER DISTRICT N0. 12-G-1-A, UNDER
A PRIVATE CONTRACT SUBJECT TO CERTAIN PROVISIONS, IN THE CITY OF
CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOVv'S:
SECTION 1. That the boundaries of Sewer District No. 12-G-
1-A, a subdivision of Sewer District No. 12 in the City of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri, shall be as follows :
"Charlestown Estates" , a subdivision
SECTION 2. That the plans for the construction of a system
of sanitary lateral sewers to serve Sewer District No. 12-G-1-A,
a copy of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk, are
hereby approved and ordered filed.
SECTION 3. That the owners of lands in said Sewer District
No. 12-G-1-A are hereby granted permission to construct said
system of sanitary lateral sewers in Sewer District No. 12-G-1-A
and to connect same to existing sewers in Sewer District No. 12-
G, subject to the following provisions.
1. That proper authority has been secured to proceed from
the Missouri Clean Water Commission.
2. That all permanent easements for said sewers on private
property are made to the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri,
prior to execution of a contract for the work of construction
of said sewers.
3. That all City Ordinances, Standard Specifications of
the City and State laws applicable to this project will
be observed in all respects.
4 . That the quality of the work and materials be inspected
by the agents of the Department of Public Works of the

said City, and the cost of said inspections be paid to
said City following the completion of the work and its
acceptance by said City and the Missouri Clean Water
Commission.
SECTION 4. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force from and after ten days following its passage and
approval.
