AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 30 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE
CTTY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF LOTS
T60. AND 192, WESTFIELD SECOND SUBDIVISION, CITY AND COUNTY OF
CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, FROM R-1 TO R-4
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Comriission has recom-
mended that all of the property described in Section 1 of this
Ordinance should be rezoned from R-1, 5ingle-Family Dwelling
District to R-4 , Multiple Dwelling District; and
4JHEREAS, Public Notice of such change was given as prescribed
in Chapter 30 of the Co�e of Ordinances of the City of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri, and public hearing was held on Wednesday,
October 17, 1979; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri,
has elected to rezone the property described in Section 1 from R-
l, Single-Family Dwelling District to R-4, Multiple Dwelling
District;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY JF
CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOGJS :
SECTION l. Chapter 30 of the Code of Ordinances of the City
of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, is hereby amended to c}:lange the
zoning from the present R-1, Single-Family Dwelling District to
R-4, Multiple Dwelling District, for the following described
property:
Lot 161 and 192 of Westfield Second Subdivision, a part
of Outlot 78-B and 83, U.S. Private Survey No. 2199 , of the
City and County of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, as shown by
plat recorded in Plat Book 12 at Page 3
SECTION 2. The City Council hereby finds and declares that
the property described in Section 1 hereof is at the present time
particularly suitable for the purposes and uses of R-4, Multiple
Dwelling District, and that such changes authorized hereby are
reasonable and in reasonable conformity with the existing uses
and value of �che immediately surrounding properties.

SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after ten days after its passage and approval.
