AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING GENERAL WARRANTY DEEDS FOR A TRAFFIC
SIGNAL PROJECT, IN THE CITY AND COUNTY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: �
SECTION l. That a General Warranty Deed dated the lOth day
of October, 1979, anci signed by •Georgell Investments, Inc. , a
Missouri Corporation, duly acknowledged before a notary public
which conveys to the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, for a
traffic signal project the following parcel of land, to-wit:
Commencing at a point on the east line of Lot 24 , said
point being 48 ' feet south of the north line of Independence
Street, as said north line as shown on the plat of Sunset
Terrace, thence west on a line bearing north 82° 53 ' west
parallel to the north line of Independence Street 325. 5 '
feet for a point and place of beginning; thence continuing
on a line bearing north 82° and 53 ' 27. 5 feet; thence south
on a line bearing south 7° 22 ' west 109 feet; thence continuing
on a line bearing north 15° 43 ' and 27" east 98. 04 feet;
thence on a line bearing north 55° 42 ' and 36" east 17. 87
feet to the point and place of beginning. Said parcel
contains 941. 22 square feet, 0. 0216 acres.

SECTION 2 . That a General Warranty Deed dated the 16th day
of October, 1979, and signed by Geneva Harrell and George Harrell,
her husband, duly acknowledged before a notary public which
conveys to the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, for a traffic
signal project the following parcel of land, to-wit:
Part of the South 50 feet of the West 130 feet of Lot
64, Range H, City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, described as
follows:
Starting at the intersection of the north line of
Morgan Oak Street and the east line of Sprigg Street, thence
along the east line of Sprigg Street in a Northerly direction
10. 0 ' feet, thence along a line in a South Easterly direction
14 .14 ' feet which intersects the north line of Morgan Oak
Street. Said intersection ��,s 10 . 0 ' feet east from the
intersection of the east line of Sprigg Street and the north
