AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE EXPENDITURE OF
DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE GRANT FUNDS AND
UNALLOCATED FUND BALANCES FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
ENDING JUNE 30, 2023, IN THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
ARTICLE 1 . The City Council of the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, hereby appropriates expenditures related to - the
Department of Justice Grant for:
Equipment (Police Department) - One Hundred Eleven Thousand
Nine Hundred Seventy-Five Dollars ($111, 975 . 00) for approved grant
expenditures related to the Department of Justice Grant.
ARTICLE 2 . The City Council of the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, hereby appropriates expenditures related to repayment of
outstanding debt for:
Promissory Note - (Casino Revenue Fund) - One Million Eight
Hundred Forty Thousand Dollars ($1, 840, 000 . 00) to pay balance of
outstanding amount payable.
ARTICLE 3 . The City Council of the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, hereby appropriates expenditures related to sewer
infrastructure on West End for:
Sewer Infrastructure (Sewer Fund) - Four Hundred Thousand
Dollars ($400, 000.00) for sewer infrastructure improvements on West
End Boulevard.
ARTICLE 4 . This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
ten days after its passage and approval.
