AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SCHEDULE C OF SECTION
26-45 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES AUTHORIZING
THE INSTALLATION OF A STOP SIGN AT THE SOUTH
ENTRANCE OF THE MAIN STREET PARKING LOT AND
AUTHORIZING THE REMOVAL OF A STOP SIGN ON
MAIN STREET AT MERRIWETHER
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI , AS FOLLO�dS:
SECTION 1 . Schedule C of Section 26-45 of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri , is hereby
amended by authorizing the installation of a stop sign in the
City of Cape Girardeau , Missouri , at the following location;
South entrance of Main Street Parking Lot at Main Street ,
North edge of entrance facing East .
SECTION 2 . Schedule C of Section 26-45 of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri , is hereby
amended by authorizing the removal of a stop sign in the City
`` of Cape Girardeau , Missouri , at the following location:
Main Street at Merriwether , Southeast corner facing South .
SECTION 3 . If any section , subsection, sentence, clause ,
phrase or portion of this ordinance is for any reason held
invalid or unconstitutional by any court of competent
jurisdiction, such portion shall be deemed a separate, disti�zct
and independent provision and such holding shall not affect tYie
validity of the remainiizg portions hereof .
SECTION 4 . Tliis ordinance shall be in full force and
effect ten days after its passage and approval .
