AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE GRADE OF
HICKORY STREET FROM THE CENTER OF RANNEY
AVENUE TO A POINT 10. 3 FEET WEST OF THE
CENTER OF GIBONEY AVENUE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1 . That the grade as hereinafter described shall
be the grade for the center of pavement of Hickory Street from
the center of Ranney Avenue to a point 10. 3 feet West of the
center of Giboney Avenue in the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, as shown on the plans therefor dated March , 1985, and
on file in the City Clerk 's Office . The grade is in reference
to Mean Sea Level .
SECTION 2. Begin at Station 15 + 14. 5 at an elevation of
403. 23 ; thence with a descending grade of 1 . 06� to an elevation
of 402. 74 at Station 15 + 60; thence with a vertical curve 80
feet to an elevation of 397. 36 at Station 16 + 40 ; thence with
a descending grade of 12 . 39$ to an elevation of 380. 58 at
Station 17 + 75 , 5 ; thence with a 60 foot vertical curve 55. 9
^, feet to an elevation of 376. 51 at Station 18 + 31 . 4 and there
terminating.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after ten days following its passage and
approval .
