AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SCHEDULE C OF SECTION
26-45 OF THE CITY CODE AUTHORIZING THE
INSTALLATION OF TWO STOP SIGNS ON MAIN STREET
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRAR-
DEAU, MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1 . Schedule C of Section 26-45 of the Code of Or-
dinances of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri , is hereby
amended by authorizing installation of stop signs in the City
of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, at the following locations :
Main Street at Independence , southeast corner facing South .
Main Street at Merriwether, southeast corner facing South .
SECTION 2. If any section , subsection , sentence, clause ,
phrase or portion of this ordinance is for any reason held in-
valid or unconstitutional by any court of competent juris-
diction, such portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct and
independent provision and such holding shall not affect the
� validity of the remaining portions hereof .

SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect ten days after its passage and approval .
