AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE A DEED TRANSFERRING OWNERSHIP OF PROPERTY
FROM THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI , TO
GEORGE POON
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION l . The City Manager on behalf of the City of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri, is hereby authorized to execute a deed
transferring a portion of the property owned by the City of
Cape Girardeau, Missouri, located at 219 North Kingshighway,
which deed shall transfer the following described property:
that part of Lot Five ( 5) of Robert Sturdivant 's
Subdivision of Outlot Eighty-One ( 81 ) in U.S . P. Survey
2199, in the City and County of Cape Girardeau, Missouri ,
described as follows :
Begin at the intersection of the West line of Lot Five
( 5) of Robert Sturdivant ' s Subdivision and the North
right-of-way line of the Missouri Pacific Railroad Company,
said point bearing S . 7° 10' E. , 368. 65 feet from the
Northwest corner of said Lot Five ( 5) ; thence S. 52° 20 '
E. , along said railroad right-of-way 87. 5 feet to a point
where the South line of a tract owned by the City of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri, as described in Book 359, Page 440 of
the land records of Cape Girardeau County, Missouri
intersects ; thence N. 82° 30' E. , along said South line
120 . 2 feet to the point of beginning; thence continue along
said South line N. 82° 30' E. , 225 . 5 feet to the West
right-of-way line of U. S. Highway 61 ; thence N. 6° 43 ' W. ,
along said highway 10 feet to a point ; thence leaving said
right-of-way S. 82° 30 ' W. , 225 . 7 feet to a point ; thence
S. 7° 48' E. , 10 feet to the point of beginning, subject to
an easement for sewers as previously established and
recorded in Book 171 , Page 387 of the land records of Cape
Girardeau County, Missouri .

effect ten days after its passage and approval .
