AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING PROPERTY FROM GEORGE
POON LOCATED AT 217 NORTH KINGSHIGHWAY, IN
THE CITY AND COUNTY 0� CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLL04�S :
SECTION 1 . The City of Cape Girardeau , Missouri, hereby
accepts from George Poon a deed conveying a portion of the
property located at 217 North Kingshighway, in the City and
County of Cape Girardeau, Missouri , which deed transfers to the
City of Cape Girardeau , Missouri , the following described
property:
That part of Lot Five ( 5) of Robert Sturdivant ' s
Subdivision of Outlot Eighty-One ( 81 ) in U,S. P. Survey
2199, in the City and County of Cape Girardeau , Missouri ,
described as follows :
Begin at the intersection of the West line of Lot Five
( 5) of Robert Sturdivant ' s Subdivision and the North
right-of-way line of Missouri Pacific Railroad Company,
said point being S. 7° 10' E. , 368. 65 feet from the
Northwest corner of said Lot Five ( 5) ; thence S. 52° 20 '
E. , along said railroad right-of-way 87. 5 feet to a point
of beginning; thence continue S. 52° 20 ' E. , 133 . 4 feet to
a point ; thence leaving said railroad right-of-way, N. 7°
48 ' W. , 98 . 3 feet to a point on the South line of a tract
of land owned by the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri and
described in Book 359 , Page 440 of the land records of Cape
Girardeau County, Missouri ; thence S. 82° 30 ' W. , along
said South line 120 . 2 feet to the point of beginning.
and it is ordered the that deed be recorded in the Office of
the Recorder of Deeds of Cape Girardeau County, Missouri .
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect ten days after its passage and approval .
