AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SCHEDULE J OF SECTION
26-19 OF THE CODE OF ORbINANCE OF THE CITY OF
CAPE GIRARDEAU, T4ISSOURI, BY RESTORING TWO WAY
TRAFFIC ON WATER STREET AND ON A PORTION OF
MAIN STREET
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION 1 . Schedule J of Section 26-19 of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri , relating to
one-way streets is hereby amended to delete the following
locations :
"One-way traffic only from South to North on Water Street .
One-way traffic only from North to South on Main Street
from Independence to Merriweather . "
SECTION 2. All of Water Street and Main Street from
Independence to Merriweather are hereby restored to two-way
traffic.
SECTION 3 This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
ten days after its passage and approval .
