AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE GRADE OF WEST HILL
DRIVE FROM A POINT 11. 9 FEET EAST OF THE CENTER OF
WEST END BOULEVARD, EASTERLY 234 . 76 FEET TO THE
END OF A CUL-DE-SAC
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION l. That the grade as hereinafter described shall be
the grade for the center of pavement of West Hill Drive, from a
point 11. 9 feet east of its intersection with the center of West
End Boulevard, easterly 234 . 76 feet along the center line of said
West Hill Drive to the end of a cul-de-sac, all in the City of
Cape Girardeau, Missouri, as shown on the plans therefor dated
June, 1983, and on file in the City Clerk' s Office. The grade is
in reference to Mean Sea Level.
SECTION 2. Begin at Station 0 + 00, a point on the center
line of the right-of-way of West Hill Drive and the center line
of the right-of-way of West End Boulevard; thence easterly along
said center line of West Hill Drive, 0. 6 feet with a descending
grade of 4 . 27% to an elevation of 443. 04 feet; thence with a
vertical curve, 20 feet to an elevation of 441.46 feet at Station
0 + 26; thence with a descending grade of 11. 5% to an elevation
of 427. 72 feet at Station 1 + 45 . 5; thence with a vertical curve,
60 feet to an elevation of 424 . 57 at Station 2 + 05 . 5; thence
with an ascending grade of 1. Oo to an elevation of 424 . 98 and
there terminating.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
ten days after its passage and approval.
