AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE GRADE OF SPANISH STREET
FROM A POINT 15 FEET NORTH OF THE CENTER LINE OF
JOHNSON STREET TO A POINT 15 FEET SOUTH OF THE CENTER LINE
OF ROBERTS STREET
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1 . That the grade as hereinafter described shall be
the grade for the center of pavement of Spanish Street from a point
15 feet north of the center line of Johnson Street north 530 . 4 feet
to a point 15 feet south of the center line of Roberts Street in
the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, as shown on the plans therefor
dated May, 1984 , and on file in the City Clerk' s office . The grade
is in reference to Mean Sea Level.
SECTION 2 . Begin at Station 0 + 15 , the point of intersection
of a vertical curve �vith an elevation on the curve of 376 . 93 ;
thence with the vertical curve having an ascending tangent grade of
10 . 0o to an elevation of 377 . 29 at Station 0 + 20; thence with a
vertical curve 30 feet to an elevation of 380 . 91 at Station 0 + 50 ;
thence with an ascending grade of 14 . 18o to an elevation of 388 . 57
at Station 1 + 04 ; thence with a vertical curve 100 feet to an
elevation of 397 . 41 at Station 2 + 04 ; thence with an ascending
grade of 3 . 490 to an elevation of 400 . 58 at Station 2 + 95 ; thence
with a vertical curve 110 feet to an elevation of 405 . 51 at Station
4 + 05 ; thence with an ascending grade of 5 . 48o to an elevation of
411 . 56 at Station 5 + 15 . 4 ; thence with a vertical curve 30 feet to
an elevation of 412 . 24 at Station 5 + 45 . 4 and there terminating.
SECTION 3 . This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after ten days following its passage and approval.
