AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE GRADE OF A NORTH/SOUTH ALLEY
BETWEEN BIG BEND ROAD AND SPANISHSTREET FROM A POINT
ON THE CENTER LINE OF THE ALLEY 10 . 64 FEET NORTHERLY OF THE
CENTER LINE OF FIFTH STREET NORTHERLY 378. 36 FEET
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION 1 . That the grade as hereinafter described shall be
the grade for the center of pavement of the North/South Al1ey
between Big Bend Road and Spanish Street from a point on the center
line of the alley 10 . 64 feet northerly of the center line of Fifth
Street , northerly 378 . 36 feet in the City of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri, as shown on the plans therefor dated May, 1984 , and on
file in the City Clerk' s office . The grade is in reference to Mean
Sea Level.
SECTION 2 . Begin at Station 0 + 10 . 64 in a 10 foot vertical
curve with an elevation of 364 . 90 ; thence continuing with the said
vertical curve to an elevation of 364 . 88 feet at Station 0 + 14 . 68;
thence with a descending grade of 0 . 3o to an elevation of 364 . 35 at
Station 1 + 90 ; thence with a vertical curve 20 feet to an elevation
of 364 . 35 at Station 2 + 10 ; thence with an ascending grade of 0 . 30
to an elevation of 364 . 79 at Station 3 + 58; thence 30 feet with a
60 foot vertical curve to a point on the curve at an elevation of
365 . 01 at Station 3 + 88 and there terminating.
SECTION 3 . This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after ten days following its passage and approval.
