AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE GRADE OF A NORTH/SOUTH ALLEY
BETWEEN SPANISH STREET AND MAIN STREET FROM A POINT
11 . 56 FEET NORTH OF THE CENTER LINE OF FIFTH STREET, NORTH
TO A POINT 15 FEET SOUTH OF THE CENTER LINE
OF JOHNSON STREET
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1 . That the grade as hereinafter described shall be
the grade for the center of pavement of the North/South Alley
between Spanish Street and Main Street from a point 11 . 56 feet
north of the center line of Fifth Street , north 623 . 79 feet to a
point 15 feet south of the center line of Johnson Street in the
City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, as shown on the plans therefor
dated May, 1984 , and on file in the City Clerk' s office . The grade
is in reference to Mean Sea Level.
SECTION 2 . Begin at Station 0 + 11 . 56 at an elevation of
364 . 10 ; thence with an ascending grade of 2 . Oo to an elevation of
364 . 11 at Station 0 + 12 ; thence with a vertical curve 20 feet to
an elevation of 366 . 93 at Station 0 + 38; thence with an ascending
grade of 19 . 7o to an elevation of 387 . 84 at Station 1 + 44 ; thence
with a vertical curve 50 feet to an elevation of 392 . 89 at Station
1 + 94 ; thence with an ascending grade of 0 . 5o to an elevation of
394 . 19 at Station 4 + 55; thence with a vertical curve 20 feet to
an elevation of 395 . 16 at Station 5 + 05 ; thence with an ascending
grade of 3 . 40o to an elevation of 398 . 74 at Station 6 + 10 . 35 ;
thence with a vertical curve 20 feet to an elevation of 398 . 95 at
Station 6 + 30 . 35; thence with a descending grade of 1 . 33o to an
elevation of 398 . 88 at Station 6 + 35 . 35 and there terminating.
SECTION 3 . This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after ten days following its passage and approval.
