AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY MANAGER FORM ORDINANCE
N0. 1469 ALLOWING MODIFICATION OF THE MASTER PLAN
FOR WEST PARK MALL
WHEREAS, City Manager Form Ordinance No. 1469, passed and
approved by the City Council on August l, 1979, rezoned certain
land, established the C-4 District known as West Park Mall and
approved the Master Plan thereof on file with the City Clerk
dated March 29, 1979; and
WHEREAS, West Park Associates, the central managing authority
of West Park Mall, has requested a modification of the Master
Plan for West Park Mall allowing a change in the configuration
and size of the South tenant department store building and
allowing changes in the adjacent parking areas; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission, after a
public hearing, notice of which was properly published, all in
accordance with Chapter 30 of the Code of Ordinances of the City
of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, has recommended that the Master Plan
be amended as requested; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Cape Girardeau has
held a public hearing, notice of wraich was properly published,
all in accordance witi� Chapter 30 0� the Code of Ordinances of
the City of Cape Girardeau, AZi:,so7�.�ri; and
WHEREAS, the City Cour�cil 'r:as �;�lected to approve the request
of West Park Associates and arrier�� ��e Master Plan referenced in
City Manager Form Ordinance No. 14�°;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINE� BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI , AS FOLLOW�:
SECTION l. City Manager Form Ordinance No. 1469 is hereby
amended by replacing the Master Plan referenced in that Ordinance
with the Master Plan on file with the City Clerk dated March 29,
1979 with revisions dated December 7, 1983, a copy of which is
attached to this ordinance and ma�e a part hereof.
SECTION 2. City i�Ianager Form Ordinance No. 1469 is in all
other respects reaffirmed.

SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
ten days after its passage and approval.
