AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE BOUNDARIES OF SEWER
DISTRICT N0. 12DD-1-A, A SUBDIVISION OF SEWER DISTRICT
N0. 12, APPROVING THE PLANS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A
SYSTEM OF SANITARY LATERAL SEWERS IN SEWER DISTRICT N0.
12DD-1-A, AND AUTHORIZING THE CONSTRUCTION OF SANITARY
LATERAL SEWERS IN SEWER DISTRICT NO. 12DD-1-A, UNDER A
PRIVATE CONTRACT SUBJECT TO CERTAIPd PROVISIONS, IN THE
CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI
BE IT ORJAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the boundaries of Sewer District No. 12-DD-
1-A, a subdivision of Sewer District DTo. 12 in the City of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri, shall be as follows:
A part of Outlots 54 and 61 of U.S. Private Survey No.
2199, Township 30 North, Range 13 East, City and County of
Cape Girardeau, State of Missouri, being more particularly
described as follows:
Commencing at a 2 inch iron pipe being the Northeast
corner of Fractional Section 12; thence S. 05° 57 ' W. alonc;
the East line of said fractional Section 12, a distance of
489. 18 feet to the true point of beginning; thence continue
along said East line S. 05° 57 ' W. , 1150. 00 feet to the
Southwest corner of a tract of land conveyed to Charles
Blattner and Jerry E. Erlbacher as recorded in Book 356 , at
Page 670 in the Cape Girardeau County Recorder' s Office;
thence N. 68° 07 ' 48" E. along the South line of said tract
of land, 1300. 29 feet; thence N. 05° 57 ' E. along a line
parallel to and 1150. 00 feet East of the East line of
fractional Section 12, a distance of 543. 16 feet; thence N.
84° 03 ' W. , 1150. 00 feet to the true point of beginning.
SECTION 2. That the plans for the construction of a system
of sanitary lateral sewers to serve Sewer District No. 12DD-1-A,
a copy of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk, are
hereby approved and ordered filed.
SECTION 3. That the owners of lands in said Sewer District
No. 12DD-1-A are hereby granted permission to construct said
system of sanitary lateral sewers in Sewer District No. 12DD-1-A
and to connect same to existing sewers in Sewer District No.

12DD-1, subject to the following provisions.
l. That proper authority has been secured to proceed from
the Missouri Clean Water Commission.
2 . That all permanent easements for said sewers on private
property are made to the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri
prior to execution of a contract for the work of construc-
tion of said sewers.
3. That all City Ordinances, Standard Specifications of
the City and State laws applicable to this project will
be observed in all respects.
4 . That the quality of the work and materials be inspected
by �he agents of the Department of Public Works of the
said City, and the cost of said inspections be paid to
said City following and completion of the work and its
acceptance by said City and the Missouri Clean Water
Commission.
SECTION 4. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force from and after ten days following its passage and
approval.
