AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE LEVYING OF THE ANNUAL CITY REVENUE
TAX; LIBRARY FUND TAX; PUBLIC HEALTH TAX; AIRPORT IMPROVEMENT
BOND AND INTEREST FUND TAX, 1965 ; FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING ON
THE 30TH DAY OF JUNE, 1983
LE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE GIRARDEAU,
MISSOURI, AS FGLLOWS:
SECTION l. There is hereby levied for the fiscal year
ending on the 30th day of June, 1983, a City Revenue Tax of
Forty-Two Cents ($ . 42) on the One Hundred Dollars ($100. 00)
assessed valuation of all property within the City Limits made
taxable by law for State and County purposes and by Ordinances of
the City and not by general law exempt from taxation for Municipal
purposes.
SECTION 2. There is hereby levied for the fiscal year
ending on the 30th day of June, 1983, a Library Tax of Twenty
Cents ($ . 20) on the One Hundred Dollars ($100. 00) assessed valua-
tion of all property within the City Limits made taxable by law
for State ai�d County purposes and the Ordinances of the City, and
not by general law exempt from taxation for Municipal purposes .
SECTION 3. There is hereby levied for the fiscal year
ending on the 30th day of June, 1983 , a Public Health Tax of Five
Cents ($ . 05) on the One Hundred "Dollars ($100. 00) assessed valua-
tion of all property within the City Limits made taxable by law
for State and County purposes and the Ordinances of the �;ity, and
not by general law exempt from taxation for Municipal �urposes .
SECTION 4. There is hereby levied for the fiscal year
ending on the 30th day of June, 1983, a (1965) Airport �iond and
Interest Fund Tax of Five Cents ($ . 05) on the One Hundred Dollars
($100. 00) assessed valuation of all property within the City
Limits made taxable by law for State and County purposes and the
Ordinances of the City, and not by general law exempt from taxa-
tion for Municipal purposes .

SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect ten days after its passage and approval.
