AN OF.DINANCE CHANGING THE NAME OF MAHY VALLEY
DRIVE, A STREET IN MAHY SUBDIVISION, TO THE
NAME OF MAHY DRIVE, IN THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI
WHEREAS, the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, has passed a
Resolution declaring it necessary to change the name of Mahy
Valley Drive, a street in Mahy Subdivision, to the name of DZahy
Drive; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution has been published in a news�aper
in the City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, for one (1) week; and
WHEREAS, four (4) weeks have expired since said publication;
and
WHEREAS, a majority of the resident property owners alonc�
the street and other citizens of the City have not filed with the
City Clerk a written protest;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION l. The name of Mahy Valley Drive, being a street in
�iahy Subdivision, is changed to the name of Mahy Drive.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized to file with
the Recorder of Deeds of the County of Cape Girardeau, Missouri a
certified copy of this Ordinance and shall have the Recorder of
Deeds enter this Ordinance upon the records of the County of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
ten days after its passage and approval.
