AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE BOUNDARIES OF
SEWER DISTRICT N0. 14-Z-1-A, APPROVING SEG4ER
CONSTRUCTION PLANS AND AUTHORIZING SEWER
CONSTRUCTION
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS�
SECTION 1 . That the boundaries of Sewer District No.
14-Z-1-A, a subdivision of Sewer District No. 14-Z-1 in the
City of Cape Girardeau , Missouri , shall be as follows :
Part of the North 1/2 of the Southeast 1/4 of
Section 27 , Township 31 North , Range 13 East, City and
County of Cape Girardeau, State of Missouri , described
as follows :
Start at the East 1/4 corner of said Section 27 ,
S . 0° 53 ' East, along the East line of said Sec. 27 ,
1250 . 46 feet; thence N. 89° 20 ' West , with the South
line of Carolewood Estates Subdivision to the City of
�-�. Cape Girardeau , Mo . , 615 . 1 feet to the Southwest
corner of said Carolewood Estates Subdivision; thence
North 88° 28 ' West , along the South line of Ashland
Hills Estates Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book
14 , Page 72 of the Cape Girardeau County records a
distance of 717 . 2 feet to the Southwest corner of said
Ashland Hills Estates to the place of beginning;
thence North 1° 32 ' East along the West line of said
Ashland Hills Estates , a distance of 599 . 47 feet to
the Northwest corner of said Ashland Hills Estates
Subdivision ; thence North 88° 28 ' West, 645 feet;
thence South 2° 41 ' East, 298 . 38 feet; thence South
14° 2 ' West , 309 . 23 feet; thence South 88° 28 ' East,
690 feet to the point of beginning, and containing
8 . 77 acres .
SECTION 2 . That the plans for the construction of a system
of sanitary lateral sewers to serve Sewer District No.
14-Z-1-A, a copy of which is on file in the office of the City
Clerk , are hereby approved and ordered filed.
SECTION 3 . That the owners of lands in said Sewer District
No. 14-Z-1-A are hereby granted permission to construct said
system of sanitary lateral sewers in Sewer District No.
14-Z-1-A and to connect same to existing sewers in Sewer
District No. 14-Z-1 , subject to the following provisions .

l . That proper authority has been secured to proceed from
the Missouri Clean Water Commission , �
2 . That all permanent easements for said sewers on
private property are made to the City of Cape
Girardeau , Missouri , prior to execution of a contract
for the work of construction of said sewers .
3 . That all City ordinances , Standard Specifications of
the City and State laws applicable to this pro�ject
will be observed in all respects .
4 . That the quality of the work and materials be
inspected by the agents of the City engineer of the
said City, and that cost of said inspections be paid
to said City following the completion of the work and
its acceptance by said City and the Missouri Clean
Water Commission .
SECTION 4 . That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force from and after ten days following its passage and
approval .
