AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A STREET EASEMENT
FROM LEON BAKER AND KAY BAKER FOR A PORTION
OF SOUTH KINGSHIGHWAY ACCESS STREET
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1 . The City of Cape Girardeau hereby accepts the
easement executed by Leon Baker and Kay Baker conveying a
street easement to the City in the following described real
estate located in the City and County of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri :
Beginning at the southeast corner of the Greater Cape
Girardeau Commercial Center Subdivision; thence N. 80°
52 ' W. , 60 . 08 feet along the south boundary of the
said Greater Cape Girardeau Commercial Center
Subdivision, to a point, said point being the
northeast corner of a tract of land sold to Leon Baker
by Burton J . Gerhardt by Warranty Deed dated October
26 , 1982 , and recorded in Book 415 at Page 139 of the
,,.� Cape Girardeau County land records, and said point
also being the southeast corner of Lot 54 of the
Greater Cape Girardeau Commercial Center Subdivision;
thence S. 12° 08 ' 08" W. , 95 . 79 feet to a point;
thence continue in a southerly and westerly direction
thru a central angle of 00° 02 ' 19" 4 . 21 feet to a
point; thence S. 80° 52 ' East 60 . 08 feet to a point on
a non-tangent curve, being the west right-of-way line
of U. S. Route 61 , said curve having a radius of
2752 .92 feet ; thence continue northerly and easterly
along the right-of-way line thru a central angle of
00° 02 ' 19" , 1 .86 feet; thence N. 12° 08 ' 08" East,
98 . 14 feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2 . This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect ten days after its passage and approval .
