AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE BOUNDARIES OF
SEWER DISTRICT N0. 14-B, A SUBDIVISION OF
SEWER DISTRICT N0. 14 , APPROVING THE PLANS
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SYSTEM bF SANITARY
LATERAL SEWERS IN SEWER DISTRICT N0. 14-B,,
AND AUTHORIZING THE CONSTRUCTION OF SANITARY
LATERAL SEWERS IN SEWER DISTRICT NQ. 14-B
UNDFR A PRIVATE CONTRACT SUBJECT TO CERTAIN
PROVISIONS, IN THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI , AS FOI,LOWS:
SECTION 1 . That the boundaries of Sewer District No . 14-B,
a subdivision of Sewer District No. 14 in the City of Cape
Girardeau , Missouri , shall be as follows :
Part of U. S. Survey Number 3314 , Township 31
rlorth , Range 13 East , commonly called part of the west
one-half of the Northwest Quarter of Section 26 ,
,.-� Township 31 North , Range 13 East, in the City of Cape
Girardeau , Missouri , described as follows :
Begin at the intersection of the east line of the
West one-half of said Northwest Quarter and the south
line of U. S. Route No . 61 , said point being 60 feet
south of the center line of said Route No . 61 ,
measured normal thereto and opposite Route No. 61
Station 977 + 03 . 8 ; thence North 55° 49 ' West, with
the south line of Route No . 61 , 213 . 9 feet to the
point of curve of a 3° 06 ' curve to the left; thence
with said south line on said 3° 06 ' curve to the left
in a northwesterly direction, 186 . 5 feet; thence with
an offset in said south line , North 28° 25 ' East , 10 . 0
feet; thence with said south line on a 3° 05 ' curve to
the left in a northwesterly direction , 39 . 0 feet;
thence South 13° 03 ' West, 112 . 7 feet; thence South

SECTION 2 . That the plans for the construction of a system
of sanitary lateral sewers to serve Sewer District No. 14-B, a
copy of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk , are
hereby approved and ordered filed .
SECTION 3 . That the owners of lands in said Sewer District
No . 14-B are hereby granted permission to construct said system
of sanitary lateral sewers in Sewer District No . 14-B subject
to the following provisions .
1 . That proper authority has been secured to proceed from
the Missouri Clean Water Commission .
2 . That all permanent easements for said sewers on
private property are made to the City of Cape
Girardeau , Missouri , prior to execution of a contract
for the work of construction of said sewers .
3 . That all City ordinances , Standard Specifications of
the City and State laws applicable to this project
will be observed in all respects .
4 . That the quality of the work and materials be `�
inspected by the agents of the City engineer of the
said City, and that cost of said inspections be paid
to said City following the completion of the work and
its acceptance by said City and the Missouri Clean
Water Commission .
SECTION 4 . That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force from and after ten days following its passage and
approval .
