AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE BOUNDARIES OF
SEWER DISTRICT N0. _l4-C , A SUBDIVISION OF
. SEWER DISTRICT N0. 14 , APPROVING THE PLANS
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SYSTEi�9 OF SANITARY
LATERAL SEWERS IN SEWER DISTRICT NO. 14-C,
AND AUTHORIZING THE CONSTRUCTION OF SANITARY
LATERAL SEWERS IN SEWER DISTRICT NO. 14-C
UNDER A PRIVATE CONTRACT SUBJECT TO CERTAIN
PROVISIOrIS, IN THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1 . That the boundaries of Sewer District No . 14-C,
a subdivision of Sewer District No. 14 in the City of Cape
Girardeau , Missouri , shall be as follows :
Part of the S.W. 1/4 of the S. F . 1/4 of Fractional
Section 26 , Township 31 North , Range 13 East in the
City of Cape Girardeau, Missouri , described as follows :

Start at the Southwest corner of the Southwest 1/4 of
the Southeast 1/4 of Fractional Section 2G ; thence N.
0° 23 ' E. , 57 . 78 feet; thence N. 89° 00 ' E . , 153 . 5
feet to the point of beginning; thence N. 0° 23 ' F . ,
960 . 41 feet to the Southeast corner of a tract of land
conveyed to the City of Cape Girardeau for the purpose
of operating and maintaining a wastewater treatment
' plant; thence N. 77° 51 ' 23" W. , 156 . 78 feet; thence
N. 0° 23 ' E. , 50 . 1 feet ; thence N . 89° 13 ' E. , 486 .4
feet to the West right-of-way line of Mt , Auburn Road;
thence S. 6° 49 ' W, along said right-of-way 236 . 3 feet
to the point of tangency of a curve to the left having
a radius of 1198 . 97 feet ; thence southerly with said
curve and right-of-way line 198 . 1 feet to a point of
tangency; thence S. 2° 39 ' E. along said right-of-way,
612 . 6 feet thence leaving said right-of-way S . 89° 00 '
W. , 486 . 45 feet to the point of beginning and there
terminating.
SECTION 2 . That the plans for the construction of a system
of sanitary lateral sewers to serve Sewer District No. 14-C, a
copy of which is on f_ile in the office of the City Clerk , are
hereby approved and ordered filed .
SECTION 3 . That the owners of lands in said Sewer District
� No. 14-C are hereby granted permission to construct said system
of sanitary lateral sewers in Sewer District No. 14-C, subject
to the following provisions ,

1 . That proper authority has been secured to proceed from
the Missouri Clean Water Commission .
2 . That all permanent eas�ments for said sewers on
private property are made to the City of Cape
Girardeau, Missouri , prior to execution of a contract
for the work of construction of said sewers .
3 . That all City ordinances , Standard Specifications of
the City and State laws applicable to this project
will be observed in all respects .
4 . That the quality of the work and materials be
inspected by the agents of the City engineer of the
said City, and that cost of said inspections be paid
to said City following the completion of the work and
its acceptance by said City and the Missouri Clean
Water Commission .
SECTION 4 . That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force from and after ten days following its passage and
approval .
